Yesterday, in the car, I turned on Will's Kindermusik CD. As soon as the "Hello" song began playing, Will yelled "Little Spence!!!" Spence was in Will's Kindermusik class which ended a few weeks ago. I was amazed at his memory. This is the first time that Will is showing me he remembers things we have done or events that have occurred in the past. It thrills my heart!
The past few times we have gone to the Library, we have met Spence and his mommy there and picked out books to read. Today when we pulled up to the Library to exchange our books, Will said, "Little Spence and Books!" It seems Little Spence holds a special place in Will's heart.
Today we finally had a playdate with Little Spence at the park. When the boys saw each other they could hardly suppress their excitement. Will was yelling, "Little Spence!" They met each other with jumping and screams. Then they ran all around the playground as fast as they could go.
Natalie just sleeps most of the time on our outings, but today I realized she is getting to the age where she needs her bed for her naps. She would doze off but kept waking up while we were out. I think it wore her out. She is sleeping 8-9 hours at night now, which is such a blessing. God has truly blessed us with an easy "angel baby". It makes managing her along with a two year old boy a little less challenging.
