Natalie had her 2 month check-up and shots today. Shots make me so sad! But she survived. She did pass her appointment with flying colors. She now weighs 13 lbs, 8 oz. and is 23 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for both. Not too bad for a baby that weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz at birth as was in the 50th percentile. I guess my worries about not feeding her enough were unfounded. The doctor was very impressed with her ability to hold her hands together already. I love this picture because it seems she is showing off her new ability!
Will has some great friends here and we enjoy meeting a few of them at the pool. He was actually playing quite well on this occasion!
Brushing teeth is a favorite event in our household, though Will wishes he could just EAT the Thomas the Tank Engine toothpaste right out of the tube. Last night he was showing off his teethbrushing abilities.
For those who may wonder what Natalie does while mommy and Will are busy at the pool... here is a demonstration. She sleeps next to two other baby "girlfriends". All three girls were born within 7 weeks of each other (the other two born 2 days apart). We mommies take turns watching them while the others play. It works out quite nicely! Natalie is on the far left of this picture next to Eloise and Francys.
