Bears and Such

Will is a nice big brother most of the time. He loves to share his many toys with Natalie. Most times she just ignores him, but on this occasion she was so happy to hold his "Tabby" bear! This was a great discovery for me because I really did not realize she was ready for such things as holding onto stuffed animals. After seeing Natalie's joyful reaction to Will's bear, we gave her this beautiful soft bear she received as a baby gift. She loves it and holds onto it much of her awake time. It seems she is going to be much different than Will was and is going to attach to blankies and stuffed animals as an infant.
Will's new pastime is constant coloring. Thank God for washable markers and crayons or my kitchen table and coffee table would never be the same thanks to my little Picasso.
Floor time is an activity shared by the whole family now! Natalie officially rolled all the way over yesterday. She made it from back to belly several times. I put her on her back and walked into the kitchen. When I came back to the living room a few seconds later I found her on her belly. We witnessed the events several times after that. What a big girl already!
Will can't stand to have Natalie photographed without him. He was posing here.
We have spent the past few days getting ready for our trip to Michigan. I am so excited to show our new baby girl to my family. My sister Lisa and my brother Jonathan and their families have yet to meet her.
We are going to spend some time at my brother's house in Holland, Michigan. The plan is to go to the beach everyday, eat icecream, and kick it! We will then go to my sister Amy's house and have a birthday party for Will. I can't believe he will be 2 in less than a week!
Then onto my parents house for a few days for some Nana and Papa time! Will's already talking about it.
I am looking forward to some cooler Michigan weather and fulfilling family time. I just hope we survive the 16 hour drive!
