Jacksonville Zoo

Last Saturday we went on a little family adventure. We drove 2 1/2 hours to Jacksonville, FLA and took our baby and "big boy" to the zoo. (Will insists he is a BIG BOY no matter what we say to him. Such as, "Will are you hot?" "NO!!! I NOT HOT, I A BIG BOY!") Anyway, the day was perfect. Beautiful weather, high 60's, and not a cloud in the sky. Natalie and Will both loved the animals, and Tom and I just enjoyed an excuse to spend the entire day outside without a care in the world.
The train was a big hit with Will. By the end of the day he kept saying, "I want to ride the train again and I want to go home mommy!" I think we wore him out!

I forgot to add that we stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Will does his Nonny and Poppy Hunsberger proud eatin himself some cracker barrel breakfast "ALL GONE!". He loves his Cracker Barrel, just like my mother!

Natalie loved watching the Jaguar catch fish! She kept banging on the window at the fish.

Will was too afraid to actually feed the giraffes, plus the line was atrocious. But, we got a close-up of the other families doing it and I had no idea a giraffe's tongoue was so long! Reminds me of when Natalie sticks out her tongue and curls it around. Hilarious!
